What kinds of state-based student aid might be available to me?

    Cal Grant—This is a group of several grants awarded by the California Student Aid Commission. They are based on financial need, GPA, and educational objectives. Cal Grants are the largest source of California state funded student financial aid.[2928]
    California Community Colleges Board of Governor’s Fee Waiver—This program waives the $46-per-credit-unit enrollment fee that all California community colleges charge.
