When is revocation mandatory?

If the USPC finds after a revocation hearing that you:

    Possessed a controlled substance,
Refused to comply with drug testing,
    Possessed a firearm, or
Tested positive for illegal controlled substances more than 3 times over the course of 1 year, the USPC must revoke your term of supervision and impose a term of prison.[1095] If you fail a drug test, the USPC must consider appropriate alternatives to revocation.[1096]
