If I go to jail on a parole violation, am I entitled to bail?

No.[688] You have no right to bail on a pending parole violation charge.[689] However, a court could still grant it. Once a court has “jurisdiction” (legal authority) over a petition to revoke your parole, the court can set bail and release you “on your own recognizance” (leaving it up to you to return for the revocation hearing).[690] If you are not released on bail, your revocation hearing should be held within 90 days.[691]
