I believe my Tribal TANF was wrongly denied or stopped. How do I challenge this decision?

The appeals process to challenge a denial or stopping of your Tribal TANF benefits is different with each Tribal TANF office. Each tribe is required to develop a dispute resolution process to challenge the Tribe’s decision to deny, suspend, reduce, or terminate assistance.[3417] Appeals are often required to be in writing within 10 business days of the denial.[3418] Contact your local Tribal TANF office to gain more information about its appeals process.
